Where you'll find me.
The summer so far has been full of creative fun. I've been visiting lots of lovely local spots and have met so many wonderful people! I kicked things off with a visit to the gorgeous streets of Frome, for their monthly independent market. If you haven't been, I urge you to visit. For the first weekend in every month the town is jam packed with makers, bakers and many more treats, plus the cafés and indie shopping there is to die for! I'm on holiday for the next 2 events, but i'll be visiting as a shopper (HOORAY!) during the October date, to celebrate my birthday.
I also popped down to Newlyn Exchange for their summer makers market. It's always a pleasure to drop in and see the team there, and this event always falls on Mazey Day or Golowan Festival - A cornish Midsummer Party throughout the streets of Penzance.
Next up is Port Eliot Festival. I'll be delivering a pop-up-shop with a difference! We'll be bringing our She-Shed to the festival with the offering of personalised brass tags, to be added to any product from our shop. Purse, Pouch, Bag, Jewellery, you name it, and you can have a tag on it!
Port Eliot will be my last event for the summer before I move on to finalising plans for Native Makers. Native Maker's is a platform for emerging designer-makers. I curate quality makers markets under this name, to support artisan craft in the South West. My next event is December 16th & 17th at the beautifully historic Royal William Yard, in Plymouth, Devon. Check us out on Instagram for a bit of visual inspiration!
I'd love to meet you at any of these events. Pop by my stand (or shed!) and say hello!
